Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the expected behavior and prohibited activities when using the scholina — Education Management System platform. All users — administrators, teachers, staff, students, and guardians — must comply with this policy.

• Using scholina — Education Management System for its intended purpose of institution management and administration.
• Entering accurate and truthful information into the system.
• Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of student, staff, and financial data.
• Reporting any security vulnerabilities or bugs to CyberCraft Bangladesh.
• Using the communication tools (SMS, notices, messages) for legitimate institution purposes only.
• Following your institution's own policies and guidelines when using scholina — Education Management System.

• Unauthorized access: Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use.
• Data misuse: Sharing, selling, or distributing student or staff personal data outside authorized channels.
• Harassment: Using scholina — Education Management System communication features to send offensive, threatening, or harassing messages.
• Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk messages or using SMS features for non-institution purposes.
• Manipulation: Falsifying attendance records, exam results, financial data, or any other institution records.
• Reverse engineering: Attempting to decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of scholina — Education Management System.
• Overloading: Intentionally overloading the platform with excessive requests or data.
• Sharing credentials: Sharing your login credentials with unauthorized individuals.

• Administrators are responsible for managing user accounts within their institution.
• Users must use strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication where available.
• Users must log out of shared or public devices after each session.
• Administrators must promptly deactivate accounts of departed staff members.
• Each user must use only their own account and not impersonate other users.

• All content uploaded to scholina — Education Management System (documents, images, notices) must be appropriate for an educational environment.
• Copyright-infringing material must not be uploaded or distributed through the platform.
• Institution website content must be accurate, appropriate, and comply with local regulations.
• Profile photos must be appropriate and professional.

SMS credits provided with scholina — Education Management System subscriptions must be used exclusively for institution-related communications such as attendance alerts, fee reminders, exam notifications, and emergency announcements. Misuse of SMS features for personal, commercial, or political purposes is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.

• Minor violations: Warning notification to the administrator with a request to correct the behavior.
• Repeated violations: Temporary suspension of the offending user account or feature access.
• Severe violations: Immediate suspension of the entire institution account pending investigation.
• Criminal activity: Reporting to law enforcement authorities as required by law.

Users can report policy violations through the support ticket system or by emailing [email protected]. All reports are investigated confidentially. CyberCraft Bangladesh will not retaliate against users who report violations in good faith.
